Cannot Save Connections (Unexpected Error)

Whenever I try to save a connection (after the connection test worked fine) I get an error similar to the following:

Error: The resource identified by : Px5RuwoBF-gv1xJc682ORg could not be created due to an unexpected error.

I have an %APPDATA%\DBTools\connections\Px5RuwoBF-gv1xJc682ORg.temp

folder in which I only have two files

credentials.sso

dbtools.properties

and nothing else.
