Cannot parse document starting with <? xml version="1.0" encoding="Cp1252"?>
Hello,
My application communicates with another server that sends back xml. I can't parse the response.
I have noticed that the first line in the document is <? xml version="1.0" encoding="Cp1252"?>. When I change this to:
<? xml version="1.0"?> (no encoding attribute) and save the document to my hard drive, then I can parse it.
Does anyone know how to get around this? I believe the syntax I receive from the other server is allowed.
