i run the netmgr command but bum into this error message:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/net/mgr/container/NetApplication

Another issue to clarify is when you want to run dbca , netmgr etc, you navigate in to the bin directory and then ./ dbca or bash dbca

cos i read from the book if u set it your environment variable properly, you just need to type in dbca when you are in the bin directory.

I can run ./dbca like this when i am in the bin directory.

So when setting the environment variable, is not about you, not having the need to navigate to the bin directory to execute the software?
