Cannot install the JDK

I want to install the Java Development Kit 7 latest update. When I select the components I want to install, and click Next, the installer crashes. It also crashes if I click "Change destination".

I'm on WinXP SP3.

Here is part of the bug report Windows prepares. Please help!
