Cannot Install Oracle Linux 6.1 on Virtual Machine

878776Aug 6 2011 — edited Aug 8 2011
I created a boot disc from the first .iso file, and the server disk from the second .iso file. The boot disk works and gets me past a few installation screens.

Then, I insert the disk "OL6.1 i386 Disc" and try to continue, and I get the following message: "Disc Not Found... The Oracle Linux Server disc was not found in any of your CDROM drives. Please insert the Oracle Linux Server disc and press OK to retry."

The server disk is in the CDROM drive, because I switched out the boot disk and put in the server disk. I try pressing "OK" several times, but I continue to get the same message.

What is the cause of this problem? How do I get the install to complete?
