cannot identify uart chip @ 2f8

I tried installing Solaris 10 (01/06) on a Pentium D processor with 4 GB of RAM. The installation didn't go too far before I ran into the error message Cannot identify uart chip @ 2f8.

Does anyone have an idea on what this means and what is the work around?
