Cannot add remote book

Hi all,
when I try to add a remote book of a remote producer in my portal app, I get the following log:

<Warning> <WSRP-Producer> <BEA-420914> <[AJAXIpcDemo] Unable to Resolve file [content/content_modeContent.book] because markupType=[layout] with markupName=[portletLayout] couldnt be resolved to a file in the file [content/content_modeContent.book].>

The Add-Remote-Book dialog opens, but no book is available. I'm sure there should be one, that is declared as OfferAsRemoteBook=true.

Any ideas, how to fix that?
