I have a page with an interactive grid on a table with editable options of add, delete, and update just like all the demos you see everywhere. The version of APEX is the product build 21.2.0. Now the user edits a record and have three columns say A, B and C. (Note the table has a sequence number but the user does not see it.) The user is only editing column C and when the user tries to save it. They get a popup box with the following error
“There are unsaved changes. Do you want to continue?" The user picks OK obviously . Then the information error states the following “1 error has occured * Column A is already exists!”
Now you can wiggle past the error if the user makes an adjustment to Column A say add a character or space then change Column C and the save works. You can then edit Column A to take out the change and save the record successfully again.
Do we need a patch? Or I am missing something WAAAYYY obvious?
