Can we use Oracle Data Pump (expdp, impdp) to upgrade Oracle DB from 12c to 19c?

Hello, does any one know if we can use Oracle Data Pump (expdp, impdp) to upgrade Oracle DB from 12c to 19c? I know we can upgrade oracle DB from 8i/9i/10g to 12c using Oracle Data Pump (expdp, impdp), but have not done the upgrade from 12c to 19c.
