Can we upgrade bug tracker from Apex version 4.2 to 18.1 in oracle apex

Hi,

We have Bug tracker sample application that runs on Apex version 4.2. We want to upgrade the same application on Apex version 18.1.

Is it possible to do that. If yes, then upon upgrade, will all our custom changes and data remain intact or we need to do that manually ?
