can we configure OEM on the weblogic cluster ?

Hi Experts,

we have a plan to add an additional OMS node for our existing OEM. So trying to identify if we can configure OEM on weblogic cluster and utilize the benefits provided by it.

I found the (very primitive) answer to this question in the Oracle document “Oracle® Enterprise Manager Cloud Control Advanced Installation and Configuration Guide 12c Release 1 (12.1.0.1) Part Number E24089-15”, and the answer is “You can install Enterprise Manager Cloud Control on an Oracle WebLogic Server Cluster, however, you cannot take advantage of the cluster configurations.”.
We need to know what does the above answer really mean. For example,
• Does the answer mean that OEM 12c installed on WebLogic Server Cluster does not utilize the features provided by WebLogic Server Cluster to get increased scalability and reliability?
• Does the answer mean that OEM 12c installed on WebLogic Server Cluster does not have more WebLogic Server functions when compared to OEM 12c installed on single WebLogic Server?
