Can tablespace be shared between 2 ASM diskgroups ?

Hello-

I have a unique situation where my existing data disk group is almost at 99% full & my tablepsace on this DG is at 95 %. One of the solution is to create another disk-group as the back-end storage is different and attache the different storage device to this new DG & be able to get space for my database.

"Unique" in the sense the exiting disks have been exhausted & a different TYPE of storage will be added to accommodate this space need

So I'm not sure if technically this is doable or not ? Hence the question is this how one would approach ?

Adding a data file to edit the existing tablespace but having this data file from different disk group.

Database version 11.2.0.3 & 11g Grid Infra.
