Oracle Database Discussions

I've been trying to tackle this issue it's a weird one, I've taken my saved connections and worksheets, and given them to several coworkers, and even copied my TNSNAMES.ORA file, had them use it, they run it fine.

I can access all of my individual connections, but when I try to use this particular connection that links several DBs/connections this one particular customer db doesn't work. I can access that same db via it's own connection, but part of my queries for testing are that I need to be able join them for more specific data.

I've turned off any firewall, and opened everything, 0 security pretty much. It's not username or password, we all use the same one, and I've checked it. Besides the fact that I gave someone the exact info I've been using. Inside this VM I can't access or change much, so I am limited to my trouble shooting. Can't run IPconfig, I have tried several different solutions with command prompt, but I don't have permissions to change much as I said. This is a shared VM so everything should be identical.

I am trying to run over the issues in my head and what I have done to trouble shoot, but I'm so far beyond frustrated at this point I can't think straight. I don't honestly know how much as far as specifics I can post because security obviously for my client.

I am using Version 2.1.1.64 Build MAIN-64.39 of Oracle SQL Developer.
