can't open database as read only mode?
Oracle version is 8.1.7.
I can switch database from mount to open with read write mode.
but can't switch database from mount to open with read only mode.
I don't know the reason , anybody knows the reason, please tell my , thank you very much, I'm so urgent, help me , thank you .
another question,I can startup database successfully but can't shutdown it manually, when I run shutdown ,the screen halted as if it were executing this command, but I wait for two hours, still can't finish this command,why?
