Can't join domain from Virtual Machine

918785Feb 20 2012 — edited Feb 23 2012
Hi.

I have a w2008 server running exchange 2010 and AD. I made all the place configurations on the DNS and what not. But i can't seem to be able to join my domain from the VM yet I'm able to do it from my Host computer.

I tried with the same IP scheme in my VM than in my host pc with no results. My problem, I believe, resides in the following:

I can't ping my server from my VM. It gives me "host unreacheable" and sometimes only 50% of the paquets give me this whilst the rest are lost.

I do can ping both virtual machines from my Host but can't ping each other. The Network interfaces are both on Bridged with this setup:

Host:
10.0.0.6
255.255.255.0
10.0.0.1

10.0.0.22
blank

W2008 (VM)
10.0.0.22
255.255.255.0
10.0.0.1

10.0.0.22
blank

W7 and XP (VMs)
10.0.0.11/31
255.255.255.0
10.0.0.1

10.0.0.22
10.0.0.1 (also tried with this in blank)

Any ideas? I'm trying to set up a lab for Exchange 2010. Can't really do it if I can't make them join. Please help.
