Can`t import JTDS JDBC for MS SQL Server connection

I downloaded the jtds-1.2.5-dist.zip file from sourceforge as indicated by sql developer document.
And when i try to import it through help->check for update -> install from local file, it doesnt work.
SQL Developer is complaining about can`t find bundle.xml file.

Zip file jtds-1.2.5-dist.zip does not contain a bundle manifest in META/INF/Bundle.xml

is it the jtds jdbc file or the sql developer issue?
How can I fix it?
