Can't get lock. Mailbox in use

hi,
some body help me,its urgent
when i try to access a pop3 mail server i
am getting the following error
javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: Can't get lock. Mailbox in use
why am i getting the authentication error inspite of
giving correct username/password
