Can't get development tool "UMLET" to work on vista 64

I have installed many versions of JRE and can not get the program used for C++ designing (i am takeing c++ programing and we use this) to install.
Every time I try to install umlet it says I need to install java from java.sun.com. But I have...what do i do.
