can't change the brightness of toshiba laptop's screen under solaris

Hi all
I've got laptop Toshiba Satellite A100-529 ( ATI Radeon� Xpress 200M / 128 MB ) . I installed Solaris 11 build 33 , but the Function keys don't work at all . How can i change the brightness of the screen ? Under windows xp this work without problems.
One more question. The Solaris work with VESA drivers and i set the rezolution 1280x800 ( using kdmconfig ) . After login the picture isn't good enough (when using 1280x800 under windows the picture is much more better ) .
