Can't change data type on columns referenced by foreign keys

user52268Jan 5 2012 — edited Jan 6 2012
Hi:

I'm using Version 3.1.0.691 and want to change the data types of numerous columns to domain-derived data types. If a column is referenced by a foreign key, however, the data type radio buttons are greyed out. I'm guessing that if I deleted the foreign key I'd be able to change the column's data type to a domain but that would be cumbersome. Is there some other way to go about this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Doc
