Can rows of SYS.ALERT_QT be deleted?

472194Dec 2 2010 — edited Dec 2 2010
Hi,

I have a Oracle 10.2.0.4 in HP-UX B.11.23 U ia64. There is a big table SYS.ALERT_QT that occupied about 200MB of SYSAUX tablespace.
I wonder if this table can be truncated or rows of this table can be deleted?

SQL> select count(*) from ALERT_QT;

COUNT(*)
----------
412643

Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks.

Regards,
Tarman.
