Hi

I have a very strange problem. I am not able to connect to the internet although I can ping the router and the other machines in my home wireless network.

I have solaris installed on a virtual box using windows as Host OS.
My windows machine connects to the network without any hiccups but Solaris cannot.

I have updated the following files to make the internet work.(This is what I i have down on machines with only Solaris installation)
1. nsswitch.conf
2. resolv.conf
3. defaultrouter

I have picked up the default gateway and DNS from the windows machine.

Every time i ping google.com* there is no answer. It just keeps waiting and if i log on using web browser it says could not resolve the host.

I am really out of ideas. Please Help.
