Can I use Dblink to link Oracle EBS Db to another Oracle Db and access tables/views in Daily Busines

Hi!

If there are two Oracle databases, one is Oracle EBS database and the other is another Oracle database used in another applications and while connected to EBS database, will want to access tables/views from within Oracle Daily Business Intelligence, can I use Dblink for this purpose?

My purpose is to create custom dashboards and reports in DBI and define its underlying tables/views from within the other Oracle database.
