Can I use ASO for planning ?

Dears,

I have been reading about ASO plan type. I was wondering if i can use it to do budgeting and Planning on the SKU level and then to push the total number into BSO application ?

I have thousands of SKU members and I don't want to include them in my BSO Hyperion Planning Application.

can I use ASO for this , or is ASO only meant for Reporting ?
