Can I rename the packages and make changes to the code?

Hi All,

I found an interesting topic from technical articles section, here it is:
"http://java.sun.com/developer/technicalArticles/GUI/swing/wizard/". But for my needs, I need some additions.

I would like to make a few changes to the source code (which is downloadable), but i don't know whether it is legal to do so. I have the following doubts

1. Can I rename the package names?
2. Can I make changes to the source code and rebuild it?
