Can I remove the files c-consecutive-YYYYMMDD-00 from dbs directory?

Hello,
I want to know if I can remove the binary files with the form C-a number of 10 digits-YYYYMMDD-consecutive of 2 digits (00, 01, etc.) that are in the directory dbs of my database?
What information have?
If i remove it, this affect the functionallity of the database?

Example of the file: c-2586436430-20120123-01
