Java Programming

Hiya, Ive asked this question a few times but no one seems to know, anyway, ill ask one last time:

Does anyone know how to get java to communicate with a controller?

Someone told me to use LWJGL before but i can find instructions or anything, and i can download the package.

Does anyone know how to get this code working?

Or more importantly, can anyone point me in the right direction? where can i find out how to get input from controller? Can you give me any help at all?
