Can a button's WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger be executed from a procedure

I have a button with an associated WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED (WBP) trigger. I want to execute this trigger (i.e. miminc clicking the button) from another procedure.

Other than copying the WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED logic into it's own program unit and calling that unit from both the original button and the new procedure, is there any way to execute the WHEN-BUTTON-PRESSED trigger?
