can 2 different releases of APEX co-exist in the same oracle home?

Hello everyone ...

We have a server installed with oracle 11.2.0.3.0. We have a few database instances up and running from this oracle home.

One of the databases has APEX 5.1.2 installed; it uses embedded plsql gateway as the web listener.

In another database, I would like to install APEX 18.1.

Will the APEX 5.1.2 application in the other database continue to work?

Or I will need to upgrade it to 18.1?
