Calling max id Sequence with EL??

Hi every one

i m usning jdev11 R2

i need to call db level sequence that generates max id with the help of EL and set for the Pk of the viewObjent.

how can i do this ..

secondly if i set the value of pk attribute in Expression (write EL to call sequence for max id) and drope the viewobject as a readonly table will pk attribute show all the values or it will show just max value??
