Calling EBS Concurrent program from Apex

Hello,
We have a requirement where we need to call a EBS concurrent program from Apex[ver: 21.2.0]
Tried typical Oracle way - the way we call the EBS program from back-end with apps_initialize, submit_request etc. So far no luck.
Please advice! It's bit urgent.
