Calendar Attachments in Thunderbird Lightning

I can't attach files to calendar events in Thunderbird 2.0.0.21 + Lightning 0.9, the icon/button is greyed out. I am able to in Comms Express though. Also, if a calendar has attachments in it (from Comms Express), it fails to load in Lightning. I thought that I hd seen this work before in some earlier testing. Is there a settings I'm missing? Has something changed with recent Calendar Server updates?
