Calculating Elim Entity in HFM like Elim Entities in Enterprise

JameyBoozerOct 22 2015 — edited Oct 27 2015

I have been tasked with making HFM work like Enterprise - how can I populate an Elim entity with [Elimination] data that posts to the actual entities during consolidation?  Since there is no data loaded to the ElimEntity and the accounts are not marked IsCalculated, I created a custom calculated ElimCalc to try to achieve calculating non-calculated accounts.

I have tried every iteration of elimination function within the sub consolidate section.  I have tried to populate the elim entities through the sub calculate section.  All epic fails.

Can someone steer me into the right direction with this?  I have tried to show client that the data that they need is in the [Elimination] value dimension that this data can be pulled into consolidating reports.  However they want the Elim Entity to be a part of the children of the parent in one column of the report instead of having two columns to give the Entity Curr Total and Elimination.

There has to be a solution to this and I have run out of the ideas.

Thanks so much for reading this and offering suggestions.
