Calculated field on a form and commit?

Hi,
I tried to find some answers in the forum, but I haven't found exactly what I need.
I have a form (based on a table) with a calculated field. This field is computed (process) when I click on a button. I then need to save the result into the table. I tried to modify the state, etc. without success.

How can I do that?
