Bypass Windows logon box in esso

749414Apr 29 2010 — edited Apr 29 2010
Hi

I've deployed a ESSO-LM using ADAM. The client is configured to use Windows logon as primary logon.

My problem is that every time a user changes his windows password a password window pops up requiring the password of the user.

How can I avoid this window, so the user doesn't need to type the password twice?

I have seen this in a older thread where a registry entry bypasses this logon window:HKLM\Software\Passlogix\AUI\WinAuth\ a DWORD key called CheckForParentProcess . Leave the value to 0

Has anyone tried this ??
Do the encryption keys get created and does the new windows password get stored ???
Does esso continue to work normally with this registry key in place ??

Thanks
Minesh
