Bypass [INS-13001] so Prerequisite Checks can run?
Occasionally when I start the 11gR2 installer on Solaris 10, I'm shown a dialog stating that my environment does not meet minimum requirements, which is true. My problem, however, is that the dialog is not consistent. Sometimes it appears and sometimes it doesn't - and in both cases my environment is short of the requirements (free swap space). When the dialog doesn't appear, the prerequisite checks run and tell me I need to increase my free swap space (which I then do). When the dialog does appear, it skips the prerequisite checks, which I'd rather not do, because then it's not as clear what I need to do to fix the problem.
What quick check is the installer doing that causes this dialog to appear? Is there a way to bypass the INS-13001 message and force the prerequisite checks to run?
Thanks,
Brian
