Button positioning

586714Aug 11 2008 — edited Aug 14 2008
Hi,

I have a report region in a page (theme 12; Apex version is 3.0) with a file browse item and a button above it (Button position: Top of Region; Button alignment: right). The button sits right on top of the file browse button which looks quite ugly.

So, how can I place the button where I want in my region? I only found the very limited positioning choices of "Button position" and "Button alignment" in the button attributes.
Trying with CSS for the class t12Button didn't help a lot: Setting padding-bottom didn't have any effect, setting margin-bottom just made the button higher itself.

I'm looking for a general button positioning instruction like this one for region positioning:

How do the Apex experts handle that? I want my applications to look professional, now the button position looks rather randomly.

Thanks for any input,
Roger
