Business rules time-out. Planning 9.3.0.1

Business rules is timing out and tried several things but no resolution.

Tried following:

Set following in application properties did not work means "Job Status" menu item did not show up even after restarting application server.
HBR_MAX_WAIT_FOR_RULE
HBR_MONITOR_DELAY

<APPNAME>_ HBR_MAX_WAIT_FOR_RULE
<APPNAME>_ HBR_MONITOR_DELAY

Also set following in system properties but did not work (same as above)
HBR_MAX_WAIT_FOR_RULE
HBR_MONITOR_DELAY

We have few rules/seq that run for over 6 hours on entire database. We may not able to set timeout for that long but is there any option that would let us see rules running in the background?
