Business Rule RTP populates only first member from Form

Sašo P.Jul 12 2013 — edited Aug 21 2013

Hello,

I have a Form where Accounts are in rows and Measures in columns.

I created a Business Rule with Variable {FormAccounts} (TYPE: Members .. not Member). Variable is used in FIX statement, so that calculation only applies on selected Account Members.

When I select more than one Account (in row) and invoke BR (via Right Click Menu) on Form, the prompt opens and only the first member from the selection is populated in the variable. When I run the BR, the calculation is applied to this member (which is OK)

However I can select multiple members by clicking on Member Selector and add more members to the variable. The calculation is correctly invoked for those members.

So my question is, why does my variable get populated with selected members (I tried selecting member names [which selects all row], cells). The variable is RTP, because I wanted to see which members are getting selected, otherwise it could be hidden.

Somehow the built-in BR: Adjust -> Adjust Data is working when more data cells (members) are selected. Basically I want my BR to be populated with selected members from Form the same way Adjust Data is working.

Is this a bug or planning simply cannot populate variable in custom BR with multiple selected members from Form.

Am I making any sense?

Thank you in advance ..

Sašo
