Business Event not getting fired

643164Dec 17 2008 — edited Dec 18 2008
Hi Gurus,

I am using the Release 12 Oracle applications.

First:

I am looking for a business event that will get fired when an AR "Receipt" is Confirmed/Applied/Approved. Can anyone please provide the list of business events corresponding to the actions above.

I am looking at the following Business Events:
1.oracle.apps.ar.receipts.CashReceipt.approve
2.oracle.apps.ar.receipts.CashReceipt.confirm

Are these the correct ones ? If not then what are the correct ones.

Secondly:

I am creating a subscription to one of the above Business events and trying to call a custom PL/SQL Function which is defined as follows in the package specifications :
FUNCTION TEST_SUB_FUNC(
p_subscription_guid In RAW
,p_event IN OUT NOCOPY WF_EVENT_T
)RETURN VARCHAR2 IS;

Then I am trying to 'test' the above event (to which I created a subscription), by navigating to the test page, by clicking on the "test" icon, besides the "update" icon, shown in the business events list tables. The message that "XXXXXXXXXX event has been raised" is coming up, but I don't think it is actually raised/fired.

Is there any profile option that needs to be setup for the business events to be raised.

I see that they get accumulated in the "wf_deferred" table.

Please suggest me a way out.

I am working on a proof of concept for one of my designs and this is not working. Any suggestions would be of great help.

Thanks in Advance,
Vijay
