Burning CD for Solaris 8
807559May 19 2001 — edited Jul 25 2001I have read the posts on this forum, tried to follow Sun's description, tried my own "well maybe" and no luck making a set of CD's from the "free downloads." I am having the same problem that many others seem to be having. Lots of suggestions on this forum but have tried those too. Is there anyone from sun listening? Are there some successful cases out there, if so, detail what worked. I'm using the latest WinZip and the latest Nero and can't even get it to burn a CD. I have the CDs from an early version of 8 that I purchased but can get the latest to work at all. I have successfully seen the contents of the cd. Anyone able to burn the contents to a CD and then make a bootable floppy? Sun are you listening, how about some answers...
