buildtms error - writing TUXEDO service in .c / .pc to insert record in ORA

708993Jun 26 2009 — edited Jul 2 2009
Hello,

I have TUXEDO 7.1 installation on Windows 2000

I am attempting to insert a record in ORACLE database. I have a .pc file that I am trying to get compiled by buildserver, as a service that can be booted by TUXEDO.

My attempt to buildtms -o ORA_TMS -r Oracle_XA throws:

GP_CAT:1102: ERROR: Cannot find RM Oracle_XA in file c:\Tux7\udataobj\RM

CMDTUX_CAT:530: ERROR: Cannot execute %TUXDIR%\bin\buildserver -r Oracle_XA -o ORA_TMS -S -s TMS -s..TMS:TMS -f %TUXDIR%\lib\TMS.obj

I have renamed the RM file in udataobj folder and have onlt 1 line in the new RM file:

Oracle_XA:xaosw:-L${ORACLE_HOME}/lib -lclntsh

My %ORACLE_HOME% is set to D:\.......\10.2.0\client\BIN

Can someone please guide me on this buildtms error and how can I write a simple TUXEDO service that connects to ORACLE database and inserts a record ?

Thanks
Prasad
