Building Berkeley DB with C++Builder (CodeGear)

It's possible to build the latest version of Berkeley DB (4.7.25) with CodeGear C++ 2007 (ex Borland C++ Builder)?
I think it's possible use the database via DLL but it is also useful distribute software "stand-alone" without external files.
Can I find a C++ builder project (it's not importante the Builder version) in Internet?
And finally, someone know if exists a free or commercial version of C++ Borland component for a visual use of this database engine (component for a TDataModule)?
