Is it a known problem that ODP.NET 10.2.0.2.20 very often crashes when executing statements with varchar2 bind parameters over database links?
i dont wanna post sample code here, because the bug looks extremly like a buffer overrun problem and my post here will be deletet then.
i would like to use oracle with ODP.NET, but there is no way to do this.
all drivers < 10.2.0.20 have the bug thet they randomly executes a wrong statement with a chance of 1 : 20.000.000

5 month ago i added 2 SR's and your Support promised me that i will get a Fix for 10.1.0.400, they said:
Fix until 20-MAY-2006 or earlier
Now it is September and there is still no fix, a new driver version is released in the meantime, my bugs are fixed, but other horrible bugs added that makes this version unusable for me.
Oracle releases new driver versions, but they makes the impression thet they have never bin tested in all possible enviroments.
I would be better to implement the existing features without bugs instead of adding tons of new features with new bugs.
There was a time i thougth mutch about oracles software quality...
