SDDM 24.3.1 just "bings" at me if I use the mouse to to click on the separator character box, and the type the character I wish to use. To change the character I have to use the TAB key to move the cursor from the “Separator” type box to the "character to use box".
-
Main menu→Tools→Design Level Settings
-
Expand “Settings” in left hand pane
-
Click on “Naming Standard”
-
Click on the box to the right of “Separator”, in the “Logical” container box. A list of three separator types in a drop down box is displayed, namely “Space”, “TitleCase”, and “Character”.
-
Select “Character”
-
USING THE MOUSE, click on the box to the right of where you selected “character”.
-
Type a key for the separator character such as the hyphen key “-”.
Response is the system just pings at you.
-
Click the box where the choice of separator type is displayed, and then press TAB to move the cursor to where you can type in the actual separator character.
-
Type the hyphen key.
Response: The character is accepted.
Typo error: when saving and exiting the Design Level Settings the informational message “Design level settins applied” is displayed. The word settings is mis-spelled (missing the “g”).
