[BUG] Reopening old connections when opening new objects
565385Mar 5 2007 — edited Mar 7 2007Whenever I open a new connection and browse to an object, any previous connections I have had open reopen themselves. Has anyone else seen this or know of a setting or something to stop this?
To replicate, simply open a connection. Browse to an object (a table for example). Then right-click on the connection in the connection browser and say close connection. This should close the object details window, but leave the SQL Worksheet open with no current connection. Close the SQL Worksheet. Then open a different connection, and browse to an object. When the object details windows comes up, a second or two later a new SQL Worksheet is opened for the past connections, and reconnects to that connection. If I had opened three connections previously, then three new SQL Worksheets pop up and reconnect to their respective databases. This gets very annoying very quickly as I manage a lab with about 60 schemas and am constantly browsing between them. I eventually have to close SQL Developer, and restart to get it to reset.
