Bug in ADD_MONTHS ???

Hi

Have tried this on 10g Rel1 and Rel 2

select add_months(to_date('28/02/2007','dd/mm/yyyy'),12) from dual

ADD_MONTHS(TO_DATE('28/02/2007','DD/MM/YYYY'),12)
-------------------------
29-FEB-08

Should it not be 28-FEB-08. Is this due to 2008 being a leap year.

Anyone got a work around.
