buffer trouble

Hello all,

I have the following problem: I want to generate buffers around point type geometries. I have done this by using of the SDO_GEOM.SDO_BUFFER function. Result is 'square' instead of 'circle'. My point type geometries have SRID = Null. Is it a problem?

Is there possible to make 'circle' buffer around a point with SRID = Null in Spatial 10g?
