BSOD while using SQL Developer

506401Apr 14 2006 — edited Nov 3 2006
Hello all,
I've not seen this mentioned in the forums already, perhaps I've missed it. But I've had trouble with SQL Developer causing a Blue Screen of Death during usage. Seems to happen most often when bringing up new panes, and when minimizing/maximizing the full application. Also should be noted that the BSOD only occurs after it's been running for awhile (hour or more).

I've experienced this with several versions, both early adopter and production. Anyone have this trouble as well? Would a different/specific version of the JRE be advisable?

System specs:
Windows XP Pro, SP2
Athlon 64 2800+
512 MB DDR ram

Software:
SQL Developer 1.0.0.14.67
JRE 1.5.0_05-b05
Connecting to Oracle 10.2

Commonly running alongside
VS.NET 2005
VS.NET 2003
Gaim
Yahoo Music Engine
Microsoft ActiveSync
Mozilla Firefox 1.5
Mozilla Thunderbird 1.5
