browser timeout after 3600 sec

During some very heavy operations that require at least 2 hours, it seems that after a period of one hour the browser doesn't wait for the response and an error page appears...
I have gone through all the xml files i could possibly think of and set longer than one hour timeouts where i could.

Please any help would be more than grateful.
I use oc4j10g 9.0.4.2.0 over linux and windows XP ( both expire after 1 hour and they are on different machines)
